Most know that North Idaho has alot of surface water...lakes, rivers and streams... more than half of all the water in the state of Idaho.

But it is what lies beneath that is so amazing!

Spokane Valley–Rathdrum Prairie Aquifer

There is a water source underneath North Idaho that could fill Lake Coeur d'Alene thirteen times over!

The Spokane Valley–Rathdrum Prairie Aquifer has 10 TRILLION gallons in it.

One billion gallons flow in and out of it on a daily basis.

Between the private residences and cities who get their water from the aquifer, over 700,000 people, they still only use 22 percent of the resource.

Just one more reason, people Live Better in North Idaho!
